Puma, A$AP Rocky unveil first F1 capsule collection
Sports giant Puma
The debut of the Puma x F1 collection, first announced last month with A$AP Rocky serving as creative director, will launch on November 17 at a pop-up, at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023.
The pop-up promises an immersive experience for attendees, showcasing the collection in a motor-inspired environment. Guests will also have the opportunity to engage with a customization station, allowing them to add their personal touch to the collection, and will find a variety of Rocky-inspired accessories and add-ons.
The collection itself includes streetwear pieces infused with performance racing details and functional elements. Notable pieces in the collection include the A$AP Rocky Long Sleeve Tee, featuring graphics inspired by ’90s toy car decal sticker kits and removable racing gloves; The A$AP Rocky Apron Short merges functionality with fashion, incorporating a removable apron inspired by pit crew workers’ efficiency; and The A$AP Rocky Denim Pant, inspired by Formula 1 pit crew knee pads, with built-in knee padding and adjustable cinches.
The collection also includes accessories such as the A$AP Rocky Gloves, inspired by Formula 1 racing gloves, and the A$AP Rocky Distressed Hat, which gives the classic ‘dad’ hat a motorsport-meets-street makeover, and the A$AP Rocky Distressed Balaclava, inspired by the balaclavas worn by Formula 1 drivers.
Limited accessories from the Puma x F1 Designed by A$AP Rocky collection will be available on Puma.com in the U.S., while more information about the 2024 collections and retailer availability are expected to be shared soon.
