King Kylie’s coming for your fashion crown, Kim.
At the opening night of the “Thierry Mugler: Couturissime” exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, Kylie Jenner inched closer and closer to the title of Most Fashionable Kardashian with not one but two over-the-top looks.
Jenner sourced yet another impressive vintage piece for the red carpet, this one a strapless black corset gown from Mugler’s autumn-winter 1995 couture collection. The dress featured the French designer’s signature sculpted neckline and a fishtail skirt, but I’d forgive you for failing to see the full ensemble through the glitter of the statement piece Jenner wore on her head.
The 25-year-old paired the diamond-encrusted crown with matching diamond stud earrings and romantic glam, including a heavily lined mauve lip and a subtle cat eye.
After the red carpet, Kylie Jenner swapped one extravagant ensemble for another. Her second look included a sheer black catsuit layered under a white silk cape with black accents. She ditched the headpiece, which I can’t imagine was super comfortable, for pin-up-inspired victory rolls and sideswept bangs—a perfectly suitable style for a night at the museum.
The youngest Kardashian-Jenner’s red-carpet risks of late certainly make her fashion world stand out. Your move, Kim.
