Kristen Stewart has been keeping us on our toes all awards season. From completely see-through dresses one minute to torn T-shirts to this sheer bridal moment, Stewart has been switching up her red carpet style quicker than you can say, “Bella, where the hell have you been, loca?”
On March 27, Stewart hit the Oscars 2022 red carpet in her most surprising look yet: a custom Chanel ensemble complete with short shorts and an open white button-up underneath a black suit jacket. She kept her hair in casual, beachy waves swept to one side and a sultry smokey eye for her makeup look.
While the look itself does not necessarily give off Princess Diana vibes, the Spencer star, who is nominated for best actress for her portrayal of the beloved royal figure, is definitely channeling their shared rebellious nature.
Honestly, Stewart’s look would go well with Timothée Chalamet’s. The Dune star walked the carpet shirtless in custom Louis Vuitton and with the wild hair and bare sternums, the actors almost look as though they coordinated.
Of course, Chalamet was not Stewart’s red carpet date. That honor went to Stewart’s fiancée Dylan Meyer, who complimented Stewart perfectly in a burgundy suit and similarly undone button-up.
The pair, who rarely make public appearances as a couple even shared a sweet kiss on the red carpet. Take that, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.
After two years of dating, Kristen Stewart announced her engagement to Meyer in November 2021. “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it,” Stewart said on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”
Appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in January, Stewart revealed she’s ready to get hitched any day now. “I want to have a big party or something…. I’m so unceremonial,” she said. “We might just go do it this weekend or something. I don’t know. Just hang out with everyone afterward.”
