Queen of rainy day ’fits and noted Ugg acolyte Irina Shayk recently stepped out wearing the brand’s buzziest new shoes—and you’re going to want to add them to your cart ASAP. Meet the Ugg Tasman X, a waterproof clog that’s just the right kind of ugly.

Before the Michael Kors show at New York Fashion Week, Shayk was spotted in olive Ugg Tasman Xs with matching oversized trousers, a cocoon coat, and sleek retro sunglasses—not to mention a surprisingly cute pink cup of coffee to offset the minimal, earthy color palette. The model is no stranger to launching Uggs into the limelight—she was one of the earliest adopters of the now-iconic Classic Ultra Minis—and with her cosign, these rain-friendly clogs are spring’s first official must-have shoes.

Launched a little less than a month ago, the Tasman X is modeled after the best-selling Ugg Tasman, a suede-and-shearling plush slipper—and is a close cousin of the Gigi Hadid–approved Tazz Slippers (which are now sold out just about everywhere). This one, however, has a waterproof design with a chunkier sole and removable sock liner to give it versatility—and a more utilitarian vibe.

Since its early 2022 launch, Ugg’s rubber clogs have picked up steam on TikTok, where fashionable creators have racked up thousands of views by unboxing and styling their own Tasman Xs. The consensus is pretty clear: If you can get your hands on a pair, you should.

Uggs, particularly the brand’s fluffier boots and slippers, are certainly the shoes of the moment. But while they’re well-suited for winter, they’re not exactly ideal for warmer temps—and who knows when you’ll accidentally ruin your go-to bootie in a sudden downpour?
