Prince William and Kate Middleton were among esteemed guests at Royal Ascot today, joining King Charles III and Queen Camilla on the penultimate day of the races.
Arriving alongside Prince William, Kate looked effortlessly elegant in a red Alexander McQueen outfit, along with matching red hat by Philip Treacy. The dress featured a V-neck, with lapels, long sleeves, and flattering A-line, which she paired with a red Hermès clutch bag and red suede pumps. The mother of three tied her hair back in a sleek bun and opted for statement gold earrings from Sézane.
Kate Middleton, 41, smiled at crowds as she rode with Prince William in a carriage behind the king and queen, sitting opposite the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. This year marks the first year the Prince and Princess of Wales have attended Royal Ascot without the unwavering presence of the late Queen Elizabeth II. The late queen used to attend every day of the races annually before she died in September 2022, with the exception of last year, when she couldn’t attend due to mobility issues. Now, in honor of her legacy, Royal Ascot has announced that the prestigious £1 million race, The Platinum Jubilee Stakes, will be known as The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
Yesterday the king shed a tear when he secured his first ever Ascot win with his horse Desert Hero. Throughout the week, other royals have been spotted enjoying the races, including Princess Anne, Zara Tindall, and Princess Beatrice.
